The role of emotional intelligence in leadership effectiveness: A comprehensive study

Abstract
Emotional Intelligence (EI) has become a vital element in leadership
success across diverse organizational settings. This article offers an in-depth
examination of how emotional intelligence affects leadership skills, decision
processes, team dynamics, and organizational results. Based on well-established
theories, empirical research, and modern leadership frameworks, this paper
describes the elements of EI and clarifies their immediate and indirect effects
on leadership. It highlights the importance of EI in improving leadership
effectiveness and suggests approaches for incorporating EI development into
leadership education initiatives.
