This research aims to serve as a reference for village governments to increase the independence and welfare of the zakat village community in Indonesia, with a focus on research on the role of entrepreneurship to promote community welfare and the relevance of cooperation between the village government and zakat village to optimize entrepreneurship. This study used a qualitative method with a document/literature review. That the conclusion of this study is the realization of economic development, the creation of social welfare both for the individual himself and for the general public, is inseparable from the important role of the soul and spirit of entrepreneurship. The most optimal relevance of village government and zakat village cooperation is forming an entrepreneurship laboratory, and utilizing access to digitalization of technology for community welfare.
