Swami Vivekananda's aims on man-making education

Abstract
Swami Vivekananda was one of the world's greatest philosophers and educators. Their philosophy of education particularly influenced his philosophy of life. He placed special emphasis on man-making education. He did not speak of people made of flesh and blood. He calls a man of ideal character. That is he calls a man who has a sense of humanity. Man-making education is not just about biblical education. He spoke of education that would develop human values, behaviour and sense of humanity. He also spoke about the teaching of science, Indian cultures, meditation etc. Because he believed that these would send the development of a persons sense of humanity. Describe the main goals of his man making education is- 1. Character development, 2. Social Development, 3. Moral development, 4. Value Development etc.
