Women empowerment and gender justice in India: Issues and challenges

Abstract
Approaches on Women's empowerment exist at the national, state and neighborhood (Panchayat) levels in numerous segments, including health, education, monetary chances, and gender based viciousness and political cooperation. In rural India, there are more requirements for empowerment. The variables which decide women's empowerment are Education, Poverty, Health and Safety. The research expresses that women of India are generally disempowered and they appreciate to some degree lower status than that of men notwithstanding many endeavors embraced by the government. The gender hole exists with respect to access to education and employment. It is discovered that acknowledgment of inconsistent gender standards by women are as yet winning in the society. From the mid twenty century (national movement) their statuses have been changed gradually and step by step. Today we have seen the women involved the good situations in all strolls of the fields. Women empowerment is the imperative instrument to communicate women's capacity to have assets and to settle on vital life decisions. Empowerment of women is basically the procedure of upliftment of the economic, social and political status of women; they generally oppressed ones, in the society. The examination finishes up by a perception that entrance to education; employment and change in Social Structure are just the empowering elements to Women Empowerment.
